G-Studio

G-Studio · Independent software studio in Malaysia

Websites, apps and the systems behind them.

Web applications, software products and self-hosted systems — built, shipped and operated in-house, from first sketch to production, and maintained afterwards by the person who built them. 6 products of the studio’s own are running today, 3 of them open source.

Services

Web, application and system work, taken end to end.

Front end, back end, deployment and the upkeep afterwards. Every one of these is work the studio already runs in production for its own products — the same work, for you.

Websites and web apps

Marketing sites, product interfaces, dashboards and customer portals. React and Next.js in front, a real API and database behind — the stack underneath DocFormatHub and SoloPass.

Applications and back-end systems

REST and socket APIs, admin panels, multi-tenant data models, third-party integrations, scheduled jobs and reporting — the systems that keep a product working once the pages are done.

Self-hosted infrastructure

Docker, Caddy, Postgres, WireGuard and DNS filtering on machines you control, stood up with a one-line installer — no third-party SaaS in the middle of your data.

Maintenance, upgrades and support

The half nobody plans for: dependency and security updates, performance and bug fixes, migrations — and staying on the project long after launch.

Pricing

Quoted per project, in writing, before any work starts.

There is no price list and no online checkout here. Every job is scoped and quoted by email first — describe what you need, and a written quote comes back with a fixed fee, the milestones it is paid against and the date it is due. Nothing is invoiced until you accept it.

What the quote states

The scope in plain words, a fixed fee, the milestones it is paid against, and the date the work is handed over. That document governs the project, and the terms it is agreed under are published on this site.

What the fee depends on

How many screens or systems are involved, which integrations and third-party services are needed, who writes the content, and how soon it has to be live. The quote names the assumptions it is priced on, so a change of scope is a conversation rather than a surprise.

How it is paid

By invoice, against the milestones in the quote — a deposit when the quote is accepted, the balance as the work is delivered. The invoice carries the payment details, and the refund policy for deposits and fees is published on this site.

How to order

The checkout is an email. Four steps, and the studio does the rest.

Email for a quote
  1. Write to the studio inbox with what you need — one or two sentences is enough to start.
  2. A written quote comes back: scope, fixed fee, milestones, delivery date. Ask anything about it.
  3. Accept the quote, and the first invoice follows, against the milestone it covers.
  4. The work is built, delivered and handed over. Maintenance after that is its own arrangement.

3 are open source — the licence and the language are on every card, and the repository is one click away. 3 keep their source closed, and all 6 are live in production.

What to put in the email

  • The job, in one or two sentences — what it is for and who uses it.
  • One or two sites you like, and what specifically you like about them.
  • Anything that already exists: brand, copy, imagery, a CMS, hosting.
  • When it needs to be live, and anything that cannot move.
